The race is one of a limited number of races used as a qualifier for national and international competitions.

The race is one of a limited number of races used as a qualifier for national and international competitions. XTERRA Smith Lake continues to be the only sanctioned race held at any military installation. This year's race will consist of a 1000m lake swim, an 18
mile mountain bike ride and a 4 mile trail run. XTERRA Smith Lake
offers challenging and demanding trails even for the most experienced competitor. Registration fee is $70 for individual participants and $120 for a relay team. Final registration closes May 27th.
