Set in the Cape Fear Valley, southeast of the center of the state, Fayetteville North Carolina is just to the west of the Cape Fear River.
Economic stability is strengthened through Fayetteville's strong military heritage. Fayetteville NC is home to Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base.
Downtown Fayetteville NC is a great mix of independent businesses and the name brand services one would expect from a city.
Downtown also has its share of cultural amenities. Fayetteville NC is home to museums, a symphony, a ballet company and a theater company.
Located right off of I-95, an hour north of the South Carolina border, an hour south of Raleigh NC, and a couple of hours from the coast, Fayetteville NC is in a position to satisfy many different travel needs.
Fayetteville has a population of about 174,000 people and is located in Cumberland County, which has a total population of approximately 305,953 people.
Although its population is sizable, Fayetteville has been able to maintain the air of a small town, while enjoying the cosmopolitan benefits that are typically found in a larger town.
